Studio Faq's
I am ready to book my session, what do I need to do now? Awesome! You can call the studio, Monday - Friday to book your session 469-454-8877. Have your calendar ready so I can schedule your portrait session. .
What payment methods do you accept? cash, check, visa, mastercard, discover, american express & paypal
Do you photograph sessions in a studio or on location? SP actually does both. The studio is located on our personal property behind our home. Our metal barn/building is remodeled for the camera room, dressing suite, prop storage and waiting area. Plus, we have 4 acres of land that provide many creative outlets for shooting outdoors at our studio. I also photograph children, preschools, families & high school senior session throughout the DFW area. I work with each client to make sure their goals are being met for each and every session.
Do you offer Digital Images where I can print my images myself? Yes, we do. Digital collections are available or you can purchase them individually.
What if I need to reschedule my session? We totally understand that things happen sometimes and appointments need to be rearranged. If you need to reschedule I just ask that you give us a 24 hour notice and go ahead and reschedule your appointment. While the session fee is non-refundable, you may use it for a one-time reschedule.
When do I pay my minimum purchase requirement? The minimum purchase amount is due at your session. This will be applied as a credit for you to use in full at your premiere ordering appointment or in your private online gallery.
Can I have my items shipped to me? Yes, of course. However, all shipping and handling charges for your order will be added to your invoice. A card must be put on file prior to shipping.
When do I get to see the images from my session and place my order? You will get a sneak peek within a couple of business days from your session. You will get to see your entire session gallery in full in 7-10 days following your session. You can select to have a premiere ordering appointment here at the studio where we will showcase your session in a theatre style setting. or, you can choose to preview and order through your own private online gallery. Just let us know which one you prefer.
How long does it take for me to get my order? Your digital images will be sent over within 24 - 48 hours from ordering. Printed orders are generally ready to pick up at the studio within 2-3nweeks of your order date. However, if you have some custom design work that is going to be taking place, it can take as long as 3 to 4 weeks. We always send out a proof to you via email for custom work for your approval, before we can send to production. So sometimes, this is a little more time consuming.
When is payment due for my order? The day you place your order, payment is due. We do offer payment plans, upon request. Which requires 1/3 of your order down. If you want to use a payment plan simply contact the studio. 469-454-8877 deanna@specialtyphotography.biz and we will set that up for you.
How long do you keep my files at your studio? We keep all images/files for one year from the session date in our current computer system & backup system. *once removed from our computer system your ordered images are stored on backup hard drives. Our goal is to always keep images safe for unto 5 years. But, as you know nothing is certain with digital. We do back up in several locations.
What if I want to make a copy of my images? All images remain the property of Deanna Lynn Belser via Specialty Photography and are protected by federal copyright laws. Duplication in part or whole (whether by scanning or reprinting) is prohibited and will be prosecuted by law. However, if you purchased digital images you are granted printing rights for those images and can reprint those images for personal use, you are not limited to the quantity or the size of the image you print.
Do you offer custom framing? Absolutely! Specialty Photography offers a variety of custom frame options for you to select from.
